Adding a cooling section to the drying oven for the wood finishing line
On a wood manufacturer's automated finishing line, the components did not cool down sufficiently after exiting the drying oven, which increased the risk of surface defects occurring during packaging. Elister OÜ designed and added to the existing line a specially calculated and customized cooling section that integrates cooling directly into the drying process. The result is fast and efficient cooling of the paint layers and perfectly finished surfaces without damage or defects.

Project Challenge
In automated wood finishing lines, it is critical that components cool down sufficiently after exiting the drying oven to prevent damage caused by packaging. On the client's production line, products did not cool down enough before packaging, which increased the risk of surface damage and jeopardized the quality of the finished surfaces.
How We Built It
The Elister OÜ team designed and added a cooling section to the existing finishing line, specifically calculated and customized for this line. The solution integrates cooling directly into the drying process, ensuring rapid and efficient cooling of the paint layers. The section was designed to fit into the already operating line without rebuilding it.
- Customized cooling section added to the existing finishing line
- Cooling integrated directly into the drying process
- Section specifically calculated and customized for the line
What We Achieved
- Rapid and efficient cooling of paint layers before packaging
- Perfectly finished surfaces without damage or defects
- Reduced risk of surface damage during packaging
- Improved end-product quality without rebuilding the line
