The Coatmaster Flex ATO technology combines acoustic and optical measurement principles.

The device emits a short sound signal towards the surface and optically analyses the coating's response – all contactless, with a measuring distance of 2–15 cm from the part.

Measurement takes as little as 20 milliseconds, making the device suitable for use on high-speed lines as well.
