FL type filters

Space-saving Plug & Play filtration unit with an integrated fan for use in air filtration under dusty conditions. Ideally suited for the air filtration of welding, cutting, grinding and similar processes. The unit is delivered ready for use, equipped with forklift lugs and crane lifting points for easy transport and installation.

Suitable for room ventilation and air purification, equipped with a W3 certificate. Filterline units with or without selected Airtower modules (PFL) are equipped with a W3 certificate and are very well suited for the field of welding work.

Operating principle

Contaminated air is directed into the unit through the tangential inlet located at the top of the air chamber into the upper part of the untreated air chamber, ensuring the airflow of the tube filter and pre-separation, which helps reduce the filter load. As the filter is of cyclone-type construction, pre-separation takes place significantly more efficiently than with other filter types.

The air is filtered through a vertically positioned filter cartridge, which optimises the cleaning effect. Cartridge cleaning is carried out using an integrated compressed air system, regulated by a differential pressure gauge. The clean air is directed back into production through the connections and the dust is collected in the dust collector located at the bottom of the unit.

Filterline FL52 and FL104 can be ordered with installed airflow distribution modules that improve the separation of contaminated and cleaned air in the upper and lower parts of the unit (recirculation).
