High-Pressure Paint Hoses

The high-pressure paint hose is a component of an airless spraying system that carries paint or filler from the pump to the gun. The wrong hose is a more common problem than one might think: a hose with too low a pressure rating is dangerous, while a hose that is too long or of the wrong diameter reduces pressure and makes the spray pattern uneven.

We do not have a single "right" hose – we select it according to the specific job from the range of several manufacturers. Tell us which pump you work with and what you are spraying, and we will find a suitable set.

What to consider when choosing a hose

• Working pressure – the hose's permitted working pressure must match the pump's maximum pressure. This is a matter of safety, not a recommendation.
• Length – a longer hose means greater pressure loss. As the working distance increases, this must be taken into account when choosing the pump.
• Internal diameter – determines how much material reaches the gun. This is decisive for thicker materials and fillers.
• Material and solvent – the hose's inner layer must withstand exactly the material you are spraying; solvent-based materials impose stricter requirements.
• Connections – the thread must fit both the pump and the gun; often a short flexible whip hose is also needed at the gun.
