The "Power & Free" conveyor system consists of several overhead carriers that move automatically through the process. The system differs from the operating principle of a single conveyor in that each carrier can be controlled individually. Different line speeds can be applied at different process stages.

The "Power & Free" conveyor system can also be designed for transporting very large, complex and/or heavy parts.

Operating principle

The fundamental solution of the "Power & Free" conveyor consists of mounting two C-profiles on top of/beneath one another. The upper profile moves the cardan-joint chain and the lower one the carriers. The carriers can be controlled both horizontally and vertically by means of special profile bends and a lifting mechanism.

The conveyor consists of various process circuits, controlled by one or more drives. Operating speeds range from 0–15 m/min.

Optional equipment

The "Power & Free" conveyor systems are available with switching units, turning devices, loading sections and lifting/lowering stations. All in all, it is a conveyor system with very few limitations.
