Salt spray test chambers
The salt spray chamber is designed for testing both components and coated test panels across the entire industrial spectrum. The equipment is reliable, easy to operate and features a robust construction.
Optimal operation Efficient corrosion testing requires careful control and complete precision. In the salt spray chambers we offer, these criteria are ensured through numerous features. Easy access for filling and sterilization prevents excessive algae growth.
With built-in filter systems and a 114-litre capacity, the mobile external salt solution reservoir ensures up to 14 days of continuous operation, depending on the model size. An integrated air regulator and pressure gauge control and monitor the air pressure required for precise distribution of the salt pressure, while a flow meter accurately
monitors the salt solution flow. Sample racks are supplied as standard for receiving panels or suspending samples. A low-level alarm system is available as an option. Precise control The salt spray chambers incorporate numerous control functions.
Temperature control (range from ambient temperature to 55 °C, +/- 1 °C, N.T.C. sensor) is performed via a soft-touch waterproof membrane keypad control panel, using user-friendly touch-sensitive keypads that provide a complete digital test display.
Humidity is controlled by an automatic self-filling humidifier tower for saturating and heating the compressed air, with a digital display where the temperature is set (range from ambient temperature to 65˚C, +/- 1˚C). This tower contains an uncoated heater, overheat protection and air diffusers to create air bubbles in the tower that produce
fully saturated and heated air. With low water level protection. To facilitate program control, the microprocessor controller can store up to seven different test programs. The cycle and remaining-cycle counter indicates the end of testing.
The salt spray / drying cycle can be fully adjusted within a range of 0 to 9999 minutes. For spray / dry / air purge cycles, the chambers feature alternating testing. An integrated air purger removes corrosive airborne salt before inspecting the sample.
This can be done manually or added to the program to run automatically.
