Optimal operation

Effective corrosion testing requires careful control and complete precision. In the salt spray cabinets we offer, these criteria are ensured by the following features:

• Easy access for filling and sterilisation prevents excessive algae growth
• Mobile external salt solution reservoir with built-in filter systems and a 114-litre capacity ensures up to 14 days of continuous operation, depending on the model size
• Integrated air regulator and pressure gauge control and monitor the air pressure required for precise distribution of salt pressure
• Flow meter accurately monitors the salt solution flow
• Sample racks are standard equipment for holding panels or suspending samples
• Low-level alarm system is available as an option

Precise control

• Temperature control (range from ambient temperature up to 55 °C, ±1 °C, NTC sensor) is carried out via a soft-touch waterproof membrane keypad control panel that provides a complete digital test display
• Humidity control — automatic self-filling humidifier tower for saturating and heating compressed air with a digital display (range from ambient temperature up to 65 °C, ±1 °C). The tower contains an uncoated heater, overheating protection, and air diffusers to generate air bubbles in the tower and produce fully saturated and heated air. With low water level protection.
• Programme control — the microprocessor controller can store up to seven different test programmes. The cycle and left-cycle counter indicates the end of testing.
• Adjustable cycle — the salt spray/dry cycle is fully adjustable within the range of 0 to 9999 minutes
• Alternating testing — the cabinets are equipped with alternating testing for spray, dry, and air-purge cycles
• Integrated air purger removes corrosive airborne salt before inspecting the sample. This can be done manually or added to the programme for automatic operation.
