What is the difference between the CJF, CJF-V and CJF-HV models? The three models differ in the maximum achievable vacuum. The standard CJF operates at a vacuum of up to 5,000 Pa and is suitable for most standard filtration applications. The CJF-V reaches up to 40,000 Pa, intended for high-vacuum systems.
The CJF-HV supports a vacuum of up to 80,000 Pa and is suitable for systems requiring extremely high vacuum. All models have the same compact design and choice of filter areas (13–42 m²).
Is the CJF cyclone filter suitable for use with the HFU high-vacuum unit? Yes. The CJF-V and CJF-HV models have a specially reinforced construction for high vacuum and are suitable for use together with the Gram Clean Air HFU and HFU-F high-vacuum units.
In this case, the CJF cyclone filter acts as a pre-separator that separates coarser material before the fine filter — this extends the service life of the HFU unit's filter and reduces the maintenance frequency.
How often does the CJF cyclone filter need to be serviced? The maintenance frequency depends on the intensity of the dust load. The differential-pressure controlled cleaning system ensures automatic cleaning of the filter cartridge during operation, which reduces the need for manual maintenance.
Emptying the dust container is required regularly (depending on the application), while filter cartridge replacement occurs less frequently — quickly from the front and with little dust generation.
Which applications are best suited to the CJF cyclone filter? The CJF cyclone filter is best suited to medium-sized production sites where welding fumes, grinding dust, cutting fumes or dusty air need to be filtered. Due to its compact dimensions, it fits well in production environments with space constraints.
