SmArtGas 4 VOC sensor
SmArtGas 4 is a gas detector specially designed for measuring, monitoring and detecting hazardous gases in explosive (Ex) environments.
SmArtGas 4 is a gas detector specifically designed for measuring, monitoring and detecting hazardous gases in explosive (Ex) environments. It withstands harsh industrial environments where conditions may vary significantly (high temperature, corrosive gases or vapours, mist and dust).
The device can be installed in several ways: integrated into the Sigma Gas gas safety system, as a standalone detector, or connected to supervisory systems (e.g. via a 4–20 mA output signal or RS-485 interface). SmArtGas 4 has been developed as a replacement for the earlier models Sigma SmArt and SmArtGas3 and is based on an entirely new electronic
solution.
Key benefits
Suitable for use in explosive (Ex) zones, with ATEX and IECEx certification
New sensor head (FL or FH) with significantly improved detection capability
The pellistor sensor offers half the response time (T90) and is among the fastest devices on the market
Greater sensor head protection against environmental influences, including moisture and dust, thanks to the PTFE membrane (up to IP67)
Enhanced interface for external connections
Reduction of long-term drift of catalytic sensors
Flexible installation: integrated into the system, standalone, or connected to supervisory systems
Integrated optical and acoustic signalling (depending on configuration)
