What is the difference between ProMix M2K and ProMix 2KS?
The ProMix M2K is a mechanical proportional system – simpler, more durable and more affordable. The ProMix 2KS is an electronic system with precise dosing, data logging and ATEX certification. The 2KS is suitable for production with more complex materials and stricter quality requirements.
Is the 2K system also suitable for the wood industry?
Yes – 2K systems are also actively used in the wood industry, especially in furniture manufacturing, where two-component lacquer materials (PU, acryl-PU) are used. Elister advises on the selection of a suitable system according to the material and production volume.
Can the system be used with multiple colours?
The ProMix 3KS allows up to three components to be used – for example base colour, hardener and thinner in separate containers. This is an ideal solution when you need to change the paint shade quickly without cleaning the entire system.
