Components for upgrading paint rooms
Over time, paint rooms and finishing lines require upgrading – components wear out, technological requirements change and energy efficiency expectations grow. It is not always necessary to build a new paint room: replacing the right components extends the lifespan of the existing system, improves safety and increases productivity.
Elister offers essential components for paint rooms and lines, which can be ordered separately and installed into an existing system.
Components offered
- Ex luminaires – main application: explosive environments (lacquers, solvents, paint fumes). Benefit: compliance with ATEX requirements and safe lighting in the paint room.
- Industrial fans – main application: paint chamber extraction, ventilation and smoke removal. Benefit: high airflow, durability and long lifespan.
When to replace components?
Upgrading components is usually necessary in the following cases:
- Outdated lighting – standard luminaires no longer comply with the requirements of explosive environments (Ex/ATEX).
- Decline in fan performance – airflow has decreased, noise level has risen or bearings are worn.
- Improving energy efficiency – newer motors and LED luminaires significantly reduce energy consumption.
- Changes in safety requirements – new industrial standards require certified components.
Frequently asked questions
Can an old paint room be upgraded component by component?
Yes – it is often more economical than replacing the entire paint room. We can replace luminaires, fans, filters and other wearing components while retaining the existing structure.
What are Ex luminaires and when are they needed?
Ex luminaires are explosion-proof luminaires that comply with the requirements of the ATEX directive. They are mandatory in environments where explosive concentrations of solvents, paint fumes or lacquer-based dust may occur – typically in liquid paint chambers and paint storage rooms.
What fans do you offer?
We offer industrial duct, roof and axial fans as well as smoke removal fans. All are manufactured in Poland and have been in use in Estonia for over 10 years – known for their durability and low maintenance requirements.
Do you also offer component installation?
Yes, if required, we arrange installation work and consultation.
