Unifog Pumping Stations

Unifog pump stations increase water pressure from 2 bar to 60 bar, transforming water into water mist; the water softener and filters protect the system against limescale and clogging.

High PressureRaises the water pressure from 2 bar to 60 bar.
Water dustUnder high pressure, water passes through a small nozzle orifice and turns into water mist.
FiltrationBefore reaching the pump, the water passes through filters to prevent dirt from entering the pump and the nozzles.
Water SoftenerThe water softener prevents limescale formation in the system.

The heart of the irrigation system, i.e. the high-pressure water pump, is a device that raises water pressure from 2 bar to 60 bar. Water under high pressure must pass through a small nozzle opening, which turns the water droplet into water mist.

When selecting the pump, the water requirement of the various zones of the system is calculated, and the pump capacity is chosen accordingly. Before the pump, the water passes through a water softener and filters to prevent the formation of limescale and to keep dirt from entering the pump or ending up in front of the nozzles, which would

cause them to clog.

Working pressure2–60 bar
Preventing blockagesFilters and a water softener protect the nozzles against clogging, ensuring consistent operational reliability.
Customized ProductivityThe pump is selected based on the water demand of the system's various zones, ensuring appropriate performance.
Longer service lifePreventing scale build-up protects the pump and extends the service life of the equipment.

Common questions about this product.

Frequently asked questions

What pressure does the Unifog pump station bring the water to?
The pump raises the water pressure from 2 bar to 60 bar, so that the water droplet turns into fine water mist as it passes through the nozzle orifice.
How is the correct pump capacity selected for our system?
When selecting a pump, the water demand of the different zones of the system is calculated, and the pump capacity is chosen accordingly.
How is nozzle clogging prevented?
Before the pump, the water passes through a water softener and filters to prevent limescale buildup and to keep dirt from entering the pump or the nozzles.
Why does the system require a water softener?
A water softener is required to prevent limescale formation, which protects the pump and nozzles.
