The heart of the misting system, or the high-pressure water pump, is a device that raises the water pressure from 2 bar to 60 bar. The high-pressure water must pass through a small nozzle orifice, whereby the water droplet is transformed into water mist.

When selecting the pump, the water requirement of the different zones of the system is calculated, on the basis of which the pump's capacity is chosen.

Before the pump, the water passes through a water softener and filters to prevent the formation of limescale and the entry of dirt into the pump or in front of the nozzles, which would cause them to clog.
