600 kW cooling system for film production extruders
We upgraded the cooling system of Dagoplast's film production extruders as a modern turnkey solution. Using automation, we established controllable cooling units with a total capacity of 600 kW, installed the equipment, and carried out the insulation, commissioning, and training. The client was satisfied with the result and also entrusted us with the construction of additional pipelines.
The Project Challenge
The procurement covered a complete turnkey solution encompassing all works foreseen in the project. Film production extruders require stable and reliable cooling, which is why the system had to be thoroughly upgraded. The scope of work was extensive and the entire execution took a considerable amount of time, including on-site work in Hiiumaa.
How We Built It
We established automation-controlled cooling units for all machines and installed the new equipment as a complete solution. Controlling the cooling units via automation ensures a precise and stable working process across the entire production line. The project also included insulation, system commissioning and customer training.
