Aspiration System Extension
An aspiration system tailored to production requirements was installed at PrintBest for the removal of paper strips generated in the paper edging machine, comprising aspiration ducting, a transport fan and an automation-controlled system. To connect the container press, a separator was designed and manufactured as a custom solution that directs the paper strips straight into the press. The solution enables the cut paper strips to move automatically into the container press, reducing manual intervention and improving the efficiency of the production process. As the process does not generate significant amounts of fine dust, there was no need to invest in a costly large-scale filter system.

Project objective
During cutting, the paper edging machine continuously produces paper strips whose manual collection and removal was time-consuming and interrupted the production flow. The client needed a reliable system to automatically direct the waste to the container press. Since the process does not generate a significant amount of fine dust, a targeted solution had to be found that would not require a costly large-scale filter system.

We designed and established a complete aspiration system tuned specifically for the transport of paper strips.

Since fine dust is not generated in a significant amount, we deliberately omitted the costly large-scale filter system and focused on a transport solution suited to the process.
