Stone Industry Process Dust Collection and Transport Cleaning

For Wienerberger AS, we solved two production-related dust problems. For the clay press machine, we designed a special dust hood together with a GramCleanAir ACF cyclone filter, which collects the dust generated when mixing sand and raw material. For cleaning the transport wagons, we installed a GramCleanAir HFU high-vacuum extractor together with an additional cyclone and a retractable hose reel. The result was efficient and practical solutions that improved the production process and the working environment.

Project Challenge

The first task was to collect the dust generated by the clay press machine, which spread throughout the production facilities as the raw material was mixed with sand. The second concern was the cleaning of the product transport wagons, for which a convenient and practical solution was required.

How We Built the Solution

For the clay press machine, we designed a special dust hood and used a cyclone filter to collect the resulting dust. For cleaning the transport wagons, we installed an industrial high-vacuum cleaner with an additional cyclone, along with an aspiration duct system with a retractable hose reel for transporting the residue.

Result
