Solvent vapour extraction ventilation in the Flash-off area

Woodman procured a spray automation system, but due to space constraints it was not possible to add a drying oven, which meant that the drying products emitted strong solvent vapours. In September 2020, we installed a Flash-Off area ventilation system for solvent vapours, which extracts the vapours generated during initial drying and ensures safe air quality in production. The extracted air is compensated by the previously installed heat recovery ventilation unit.

What problem does this ventilation solution solve?
The solution removes solvent vapors generated during the initial drying after the spraying automat, which would otherwise accumulate in the room. This eliminates the explosion hazard and allows people to work in that environment again.
Why was solvent vapor extraction needed at all?
