Räpina Keskmäärde

As part of the Räpina furnace central lubrication system project, an automatic lubrication solution was established for 18 lubrication points in an environment where the operating temperature reaches approximately 100°C. A GRACO G3MAX central lubrication pump was used together with 18 GRACO injectors, whereby the main connection line was constructed using metal pipe and the connections to the lubrication points using copper pipe. As a result, the furnace no longer needs to be stopped for lubrication, which reduces production downtime, extends equipment service life and improves worker safety in a high-temperature environment.

Aspiration System Extension

An aspiration system tailored to production requirements was installed at PrintBest for the removal of paper strips generated in the paper edging machine, comprising aspiration ducting, a transport fan and an automation-controlled system. To connect the container press, a separator was designed and manufactured as a custom solution that directs the paper strips straight into the press. The solution enables the cut paper strips to move automatically into the container press, reducing manual intervention and improving the efficiency of the production process. As the process does not generate significant amounts of fine dust, there was no need to invest in a costly large-scale filter system.

Fine paper dust extraction and filtration solution

At Räpina Paper Mill, we resolved the extraction of fine dust generated during paper cutting and the filtration of the air. We installed a GRAM ACF type ATEX cyclone filter together with a Hörbiger explosion suppression valve and designed a special extraction hood that moves along with the paper roll and is removable during loading. The solution ensured the safety of the working environment and improved production efficiency.
