Extraction of fine dust from the chipper at the point of origin with a mobile hood
We designed and implemented a solution that removes the fine dust generated during the shredder's operating process directly at the point of origin. We utilized the client's existing aspiration filter, to which we built new ductwork and a movable hood above the machine. In addition, we installed a room extraction nozzle for cleaning tasks. As a result, the need for cleaning and maintenance was reduced and the room remains dust-free.

Project challenge
The chipper's operating process generates fine dust that needed to be removed directly at its source. The objective was to design and implement a solution that would reduce the need for cleaning and maintenance while keeping the room dust-free.
How we built it
We utilised the client's existing aspiration filter, to which we designed a new exhaust ducting system and a hood installed above the machine. To ensure access to the machine for maintenance work, we mounted the hood on a rail — allowing it to be moved easily. Additionally, we added an exhaust nozzle to the room, which directs fine dust straight into the existing filter during cleaning work.
- Utilisation of the existing aspiration filter
- New exhaust ducting system
- Hood above the machine with removable lamellae
- Movable hood mounted on a rail for maintenance access
- Exhaust nozzle in the room for cleaning work
What we achieved
- Fine dust is removed directly at its source
- Reduced need for cleaning and maintenance
- The room remains dust-free
- The movable hood ensures convenient access to the machine for maintenance work
- Utilising the existing aspiration filter kept the investment optimal

Viljandi Aken ja Uks: CNC line installation and dust extraction system construction
We built and installed a CNC line together with an aspiration system installation in the Viljandi Aken ja Uks production facility. The line was first manufactured and tested at the Essepigi factory in Italy, after which we installed the same system in Estonia. We got the system operational before the arrival of the factory representatives, who completed the fine-tuning.
Helland Baltic dust collection system with sanding tables
We added two sanding tables with a back wall and lamellar side walls for intermediate sanding on the Helland Baltic finishing line. To increase the system's efficiency, we offered automatic start-up and pressure control so that the equipment would not run idle. We used equipment from the Danish manufacturer V.Aa. GRAM, which is known for its durability.
Aspiration System Audit, Design and Reconstruction
We carried out a thorough audit, mapping, and reconstruction of the client's production aspiration system. Previously, all equipment was connected behind a single filter, which caused excessively low air velocity in many machine tools and led to production problems. We measured air velocities, calculated air requirements, and distributed the equipment between two filters, replacing the old ducting with new piping compliant with the project. The client was handed a comprehensive document folder containing a precise ducting diagram and the measured data.
