Color line automation upgrade to the Profinet protocol
In 2016, Elister upgraded the Power&Free conveyor system of the powder coating automatic line established at Palmse Mehaanikakoda, which had become unreliable and which other companies were unable to get working. The conveyor automation was migrated to the Profinet protocol, the old sensors were replaced with Profinet-compatible ones, and configuration work was carried out. Following the upgrade, the system has operated without errors and ensures downtime-free operation of the line, which previously caused significant material losses.

The Project Challenge
In 2016, Palmse Mehaanikakoda made an investment in a powder coating automatic line with KTL washing baths, where the entire line is serviced by a Power&Free conveyor system and which requires a very large number of different sensors to function. In 2022, we received information that the company was concerned about the system's operation and several other companies had thus far attempted to get the system running without success. Since Ideal-Line and Aabo merged in 2019 and their official representative in Estonia is Elister OÜ, they turned to us as a last resort.
How We Built It
After reviewing the system and conducting a thorough analysis, we concluded that the best solution to the client's problems was to migrate the conveyor automation to the Profinet protocol. We replaced the old sensors with Profinet-compatible sensors and carried out the necessary configuration work.

What We Achieved
After the upgrade, the system has operated error-free Stable and reliable communication throughout the entire system
Full customer satisfaction with the restored reliability

"Power&Free" conveyor fully automatic powder coating line
A modern powder coating line was designed and installed for Torm Metall OÜ, enabling the washing and coating of products with dimensions of 4500 x 1000 x 1800 mm. The solution included a chamber-based 7-stage washing line with separate cabins for ferrous metal and aluminium, a combi oven, and a fully automatic "Power&Free" conveyor system. In the combi oven, the residual temperature of the curing oven is utilised in the drying oven, which increases energy efficiency.
Investment in a New Automated Powder Coating Line
We designed and installed a fully automatic powder coating line for Tammer, complete with an Aabo-Ideal gas- and electric-heated curing oven and a Gema paint booth operating 16 automatic guns. The monorail conveyor has a load capacity of 100 kg per metre. In addition, we built out the compressed air and ventilation lines. The entire installation was completed in May 2023, having started already before Midsummer.
Powder Coating Automatic Line with Power&Free Conveyor
For Sami AS, for whom we built a two-chamber liquid painting line in 2020, we established an automatic powder coating line as part of a production expansion. The solution includes a Power&Free conveyor and a tunnel-type washing automatic line that enables production analysis and future expansion. The equipment is sourced from reliable manufacturers Gema AG, Aabo-Ideal and Hjort-Conveyor.
