Two painting robots and automation for the painting line
Two CMA GR6100E painting robots were added to Viking Window's existing painting line, which use a scanner to detect and paint the product, leaving the line to be operated by just one person. The robots were equipped with a GRACO six-colour paint changeover system and Merkur paint pumps. In addition, a conveyor lifting section with a lifting capacity of up to 200 kg was installed, along with an automatic cleaning unit with a working height of 2.8 m.


Project Challenge
The goal was to create a painting station for two robots that detect and paint the product using a scanner. The entire line was to be operated by just one person. In addition, the convenient hanging of larger and heavier products onto the conveyor and the automatic cleaning of products before painting had to be resolved.
How We Built It
Two CMA GR6100E painting robots were deployed, once again equipped with the GRACO colour change system for six colour shades and Merkur type paint pumps. A lifting section ("Drop Section") was installed for hanging larger products onto the conveyor, and a cleaning unit with rotary heads and ionisers was installed for product cleaning. The start-up and shutdown of the cleaning unit was automated using detection of the moving boom.

What We Achieved

MAKOR deck oven replacement on the production line
We replaced the old floor oven on the JeldWen Eesti AS production line with a new MAKOR floor oven. Factory Vacuum Compensation with Ventilation Unit
We installed a water-heated ventilation unit together with control automation and a water node at the factory of window manufacturer Viljandi Aken ja Uks to compensate for the air extracted by various equipment. The system ensures air exchange at a volume of 20 000 m³/h, filters the supply air with filtration grade M5, and heats the air to a level suitable for the indoor climate.
