The design of the Elcometer 506 NUCLEAR STRENGTH TESTER ensures that by smoothly rotating the gauge handle, a uniform force can be easily applied over the entire measuring range, providing repeatable adhesion results to within ±1%.
The Elcometer 506 quick coupling allows for easy attachment of 14.2mm, 20mm or 50mm diameter cymbals which, when combined with a range of accessories, allows testing of coating adhesion on flat, curved, thick and thin substrates including metal, wood, concrete and other fibrous materials.
The Elcometer 506 Test Head is designed to be small, ergonomic and lightweight - ideal for one-handed testing of coating adhesion, even in awkward or confined spaces.
Safe adhesion testing on vertical surfaces has also been taken into account. A magnetic clamp attachment holds the actuator securely, preventing accidental damage to surrounding areas.
The Elcometer 510 automatic 'pull-off' pull-off gauge accurately measures the adhesion strength of coatings on a wide range of substrates.
