Irrigation systems

In the woodworking industry, humidity control is critical. Excessively dry air causes cracking, warping and dimensional changes in wood - directly affecting product quality and end customer satisfaction. Excessively humid air leads to mould, sticky surfaces and production downtime. A stable microclimate is the basis for successful wood production.

Elister on Graco official representative in Estonia - we offer Graco industrial humidification systems specifically designed for manufacturing environments where precise humidity management is required. Graco equipment is reliable, energy efficient and suitable for use in the harsh conditions of woodworking production.

Our irrigation systems include:

  • Compressed air humidification systems for production and warehouse buildings
  • Steam heating for wood dryers and processing rooms
  • Centralised irrigation systems for large production areas
  • Automatic humidity control and monitoring
  • Installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems
  • Consultation to determine the optimum humidity level for the production process

Elister designs each solution according to the specifics of the customer's production space - the dimensions, material, temperature range and required humidity level are the basis for the system selection. Graco humidification systems are integrated into your production process with minimal disruption.

Frequently asked questions

Why is it important to control moisture levels in woodworking?
Wood reacts to changes in humidity - air that is too dry will cause cracks and shrinkage, while air that is too humid will swell the wood and can cause mould. Graco humidification systems keep moisture levels stable year round, ensuring a high quality end product.

Which Graco irrigation systems are suitable for which production area?
Graco humidification systems are suitable for a variety of production areas - from small woodworking shops to large furniture factories and sawmills. The system is dimensioned according to the volume of the room, the desired humidity level and the specificity of the production process.

Does the irrigation system need regular maintenance?
Yes - regular maintenance will ensure optimum system performance and longevity. Elister offers maintenance contracts to check the spray nozzles, filtration, water quality and the general working condition of the unit. Maintenance prevents breakdowns and saves costs in the long run.

Areas concerned

Unifog water softener

Water softener - A purification system is necessary for irrigation to work successfully. When a purification system is installed on the system, it is ensured that only pump oil changes and filter changes are required during maintenance. The water softener performs a purge cycle after every 6000 litres of water or after 30 days. Typically, competing purification cycles are set at 6 months, which significantly reduces water quality. After [...]

Unifog UniControl Control Centre

The UNIFOG UniControl control panel is the system's control body, which monitors and controls the operation of all the zones in the system. It is a touch screen control panel that is used to enter the necessary operating parameters and to monitor real examples in the production room. Up to 16 zones can be added to the panel as zone extensions. Digital humidity sensors for the required zones are included in the price of the system to measure the humidity level in the respective zones.

Unifog pumping stations

The heart of the dehumidification system, the high-pressure water pump, is a device that raises the water pressure from 2 bar to 60 bar. High-pressure water has to pass through a small nozzle which turns the water droplet into a water slurry. When selecting the pump, the water demand of the different zones of the system is calculated and the pump capacity is selected on this basis. Before the pump, the water passes through a water softener and filters to prevent scale formation and dirt [...] [...]

Unifog Osmosis water filter

The water is mechanically purified in a 5my density filter, then recirculated in membranes with a movement of 0001-.0001 mm, from where ions as well as all dissolved substances are recovered. The pressure in this pump is typically 14-15 bar. After the membranes, the water is collected in a hydrophore and, after passing through a water softener, the water is discharged. The water pressure at the inlet is 2-5 bar. It should also be noted that after purification, the water [...]

Unifog irrigation nozzles

UNIFOG irrigation nozzles are made of stainless steel. The nozzles are available in different sizes ranging from 2.2 to 4.5 litres per hour. The nozzles are equipped with a non-return valve that closes when the water pressure is lower than 30 bar. This ensures that the nozzles operate perfectly and eliminates backflow due to pressure drop. The nozzles are attached to the pipeline by means of nozzle holders which are press-fitted with a special press tool.
