Mobile Welding Filter “Airtower” - Plug & Play Welding Room Air Purification System

The Gram Clean Air Airtower is a space-saving mobile filtration unit with integrated fan - ideal for filtering air in the welding hall without a fixed installation. The unit is supplied ready to use: forklift loops and crane lifting points allow easy movement. The integrated CEE plug and the automatic differential pressure gauge filter cleaning ensure continuous operation.

Airtower technical characteristics

  • Pre-separation with cyclone effect: The polluted air is directed tangentially to the top of the air chamber, creating a cyclonic effect. Pre-separation significantly reduces the load on the filter compared to a conventional filter.
  • Vertical filter bank: The air is filtered through a vertically positioned filter pad, which optimises the cleaning effect. W3 certified Filterline cartridges.
  • Automatic cleaning: Differential pressure gauge controlled cartridge cleaning with integrated compressed air system - uninterrupted operation without stopping.
  • Quicklock dust collector: Dust is collected in a ø400mm dust collector with a flange at the bottom of the unit. Quicklock fastening ensures quick and clean changes.

How big is the Airtower suitable for?

The Airtower is suitable for medium sized welding shops and for mobile use in different production areas. The unit is designed on the “Plug & Play” principle - plug into a CEE socket and start working immediately.

Can Airtower be used in an ATEX environment?

The standard Airtower is designed for a conventional welding environment. ATEX-required environments require a separate ATEX-certified solution. Please consult Elister for a suitable solution.

How often do I need to change the filter cartridge?

Automatic differential manometric cleaning significantly extends the life of the filter cartridge. Typical replacement interval is 1000-2000 hours depending on dust load. Quicklock fastening makes replacement quick.

Can the Airtower be connected to existing ventilation?

The Airtower is a stand-alone mobile unit that does not require connection to existing ventilation. Clean air is directed back into the production room, reducing heating losses. For stationary installation we recommend Push-Pull or push-pull systems.
