Welding robots

Manufacturing is moving towards automating its processes with the help of robots, and welding is one area.
In cooperation with a partner, we offer welding robots with different capabilities.

Seam location is searched either by touch-sensitive probes, weld wire on predefined surfaces of the part. Optical or laser sensors can also be used.

Real-time adjustment of the burner position based on feedback from the welding bath - seam tracking.
While in many cases this requires additional sensors, in robotic systems with Fronius welding equipment, the tracking signal is transmitted digitally to the robot and only the robot-side supporting software is needed.

If the analysis of the welding parameters does not give satisfactory results for the control of the burner, machine vision is used in conjunction with a laser projector.

In Estonia, we have introduced the first machine vision process of this kind, which allows contactless searching of parts in space and adjustment of the burner position during welding.
