Conveyor systems

In the woodworking industry, the efficient movement of materials and products is the basis of production throughput. Manual transport is time-consuming, costly and causes damage to the product. Graco's conveyor systems enable a smooth, automated production flow from raw material to finished product.

Elister on Graco official representative in Estonia - we offer Graco conveyor systems integrated in woodworking lines, including painting, varnishing and drying processes. Graco conveyor solutions are suitable for new production lines as well as for modernisation of existing systems.

Our conveyor systems include:

  • Overhead conveyors for painting and varnishing of wood parts.
  • Floor conveyors for connecting panels and furniture components to the line
  • Conveyor integration with Graco spray and varnishing systems
  • Production line automation with loading and unloading stations
  • Speed control and synchronisation with other production equipment
  • Maintenance, repair and spare parts services for conveyor systems

Elister designs a conveyor solution according to the dimensions of the production space, the product range and the production volume. All Graco conveyor systems comply with occupational health and fire safety requirements and are designed for long-term production use with minimum maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

What type of conveyor system is suitable for a woodworking finishing line?
The finishing line is best suited to pendulum conveyors, which allow free rotation of the products and even varnishing from all sides. Graco spraying systems are integrated into the conveyor, ensuring accurate and uniform application of material onto the moving product.

Can the conveyor system be linked to an existing production line?
Yes - Elister assesses the layout of the existing production line and finds the optimal integration solution. Often, the new conveyor can be connected to the existing drying or varnishing line without major modifications. The modular design of Graco equipment simplifies integration.

How quickly will the conveyor system pay for itself?
The payback period depends on the volume of manual work, productivity growth and the reduction of waste. In most cases, a conveyor system will pay for itself in 2-4 years, but in larger production runs the payback time is much shorter. Elister carries out an initial cost-benefit assessment free of charge.

Areas concerned

Motorised conveyors

A single conveyor system is a transport system built around a C-profile running gimbal. Special arches allow the gimbal chain to move both horizontally and vertically. The chain is driven by one or more actuators and is capable of handling loads of up to 100 kg per metre of chain.

Manual hand-held conveying

Manual conveyors are used where automatic transport is not necessary, we also offer manual conveyor systems. These systems have proven their value in a number of construction projects where volume requirements are low but the need for flexibility is high.

"Power&Free" conveyor systems

The "Power & Free" conveyor system consists of a number of hanging conveyors that move automatically through the process. The "Power & Free" conveyor system differs from a single conveyor in that each process is individually controlled. All "Power & Free" conveyors are manufactured by the Swedish manufacturer Hjort Conveyors.
