The salt test booth is designed to test both components and coated test plates across the full spectrum of industry. The instruments are reliable, easy to use and of robust construction.
The salt test booths provide the precise environmental test conditions required by industry today. Thanks to their reliability, ease of use and robust construction, salt spray booths have gained worldwide acceptance with applications in all major sectors from automotive to paint, coatings, chemical, electronics, aerospace, military and offshore. Salt test booths are widely used for testing both components and coated test plates. The design ensures that they meet or exceed the requirements of all major national, international and company standards.

Effective corrosion testing requires careful management and complete accuracy. The salt spray booths we offer meet these criteria with a wide range of features. Easy access for filling and sterilisation prevents excessive growth of algae. With built-in filtration systems and a 114-litre capacity, the mobile external brine tank ensures up to 14 days of continuous operation, depending on the model size. An integrated air regulator and pressure gauge control and monitor the air pressure needed to accurately distribute the brine pressure, while a flow meter accurately monitors the brine flow. Sample racks are standard for receiving panels or stopping samples. A low level alarm system is optionally available.
The salt spray cabinets integrate many control functions. Temperature control (range from ambient temperature up to 55°C, +/- 1°C, N.T.C. Sensor) is performed with a soft-touch, waterproof membrane keypad control panel, using user-friendly touch-sensitive keypads, providing a full digital test pattern. Humidity is controlled by an automatic self-filling humidifier tower for compressed air saturation and heating with a digital display set to a temperature set point (range from ambient to 65˚C, +/- 1˚C). This tower incorporates an unpainted heater, overheat protection and air diffusers to create air bubbles in the tower to produce fully saturated and heated air. Low water level protection. To facilitate program control, the microprocessor controller can store up to seven different test programs. Cycle and left cycle counters indicate the end of testing. The salt spraying/drying cycle can be fully adjusted between 0 and 9999 minutes. For the spray/dry/air-clean cycles, the cabinets are intermittent testing. An integrated air cleaner removes corrosive airborne salt before testing the sample. This can be done manually or added to a program to run automatically.
