In the last project, the company had to deal with the challenge of fine dust generated during the paper cutting process. Dust is a common occurrence in the cutting process, but removing it effectively required a special solution.
In this project, the main task was to create a dust removal system that would be able to cope with the specificities of the machine's operating characteristics. The complexity of the project was added to by the need to integrate the system so that it would move with the paper roll and it would be possible to remove the extraction system from the work area during loading.
We chose a GRAM ACF type ATEX cyclone filter, which was complemented with a Hörbiger valve as required for indoor applications. This valve is designed to suppress flames in the event of an explosion, thus ensuring the safety of people in the vicinity.
We specifically designed an extraction hood for this machine, which can effectively remove dust from the working area. In addition, we installed the necessary piping to ensure a smooth system operation.
This project not only solved the problem of dust removal, but also ensured a safe working environment and improved the overall production efficiency at Räpina Paper Mill. Such innovations are part of the company's commitment to continually improve its operations in order to always offer the best to its customers.

In addition, a major overhaul of the irrigation system as a whole was requested, including the modernisation of the control panel to ensure greater reliability and efficiency.
To deliver the project, we worked with the client to understand exactly what their needs and expectations were. Our team then carried out a major upgrade to the irrigation pumping station. The upgraded pump station improves water supply, ensuring optimal irrigation.
We installed a state-of-the-art touchscreen control panel with an expansion module for additional zones, allowing precise and flexible control of the entire irrigation system. We also added a reverse osmosis unit, which ensures high water quality by removing minerals and extending the life of the irrigation system.
Finally, we replaced the previous UFO solution with nozzle spraying, which is more efficient and requires less maintenance. Thanks to these upgrades, Print Best's irrigation system is now significantly more reliable and durable, ensuring a smoother and more efficient production process.
