The company is growing at a frantic pace and in this context we have received a number of engineering challenges that require planning, design and testing. Here's another project.

This time, it was necessary to increase productivity and find a machine with a plant room capable of handling the two-component foam used.

find a device to mix the foam and the hardener on a rolling basis.
place the dosing unit directly in the foam mould, where the product runs through it.
design a working environment with automatic ventilation and lighting for the equipment.

SOLUTION

we designed an equipment room on a metal frame and sandwich material, with internal walls made of rust-resistant material for easier cleaning.
the equipment room is equipped with ATEX luminaires and the solvent detector is equipped with automatic ventilation.
we supplied to our client GRACO hydraulic multicomponent dispenser HFR, which was tasked with mixing and dispensing the 2K foam through an automatic applicator into the casting bath, from where the product passed through a stencil.
the system has a sensor that uses laser technology to measure the level of material in the bath and, if necessary, instructs the unit to dose more.
