AS Viljandi Aken ja Uks has been one of the largest manufacturers of windows and doors in the Baltics for thirty years, with the aim of providing high quality windows and doors. The company has been growing steadily over the years, as a result of which we have developed into one of the largest window and door manufacturers in Scandinavia.
One fine day, we received a happy call from our good client in Viljandi, who... raised an interesting question: could we find a smart solutionto take advantage of the energy generated by compressors ice heat and channel it efficiently into heating ventilation equipment.
Knowing that the residual heat generated by compressor operation is usually wasted if it is simply used to cool the oil, causing the room to become too hot, we saw great potential in this challenge and were ready to put our own spin on the solution.
As a result of this technological solution, we are now able to channel the residual heat generated by the compressors efficiently to heat the ventilation equipment. This not only contributes to energy efficiency, but also creates a more comfortable and optimal working environment for our customers.
We developed a centralised node that included control automation for four compressors, where safety was a priority. We brought out dedicated connection points for the compressors and created a compact and straightforward system. Thanks to innovative heat meters, the customer can constantly monitor how much valuable energy the compressors are producing.
As a result of this technological solution, we are now able to channel the residual heat generated by the compressors efficiently to heat the ventilation equipment. This not only contributes to energy efficiency, but also creates a more comfortable and optimal working environment for our customers.
