AS Hekotek is a mechanical engineering company designing and manufacturing equipment for woodworking technology. The company was founded in 1992, mainly by professionals who had been successfully working in the same field in Finland for decades.
Hekotek wanted to introduce 200-litre containers and do away with the manual mixing of paints.
We installed for the client their GRACO ProMix 2KS, the most powerful and finest system for multi-component paints, together with the necessary transfer pumps and mixers.
As the system is designed for a total of six colours supplied in 200 litre drums, thea, we ran out of space in the warehouse and designed a second floor based on a metal structure. So there are three tanks on the lower level and three tanks on the upper level.
In summary, the system is currently ready for six colours and two hardeners, and the whole system can be expanded to thirty colours and four hardeners if necessary.
