Gema's newest "Dynamic Contour Detection" the system detects the contours of the detail and allows the products to be painted with minimal human intervention. Importantly for this system, the higher the resolution of the guns (the more guns there are and the more densely they cover the area, the denser the resulotation), the better the quality of the products the automation can paint.

This advanced Gema solution uses a laser scanner to detect the shape of the most complex objects to ensure excellent coating results. The process of dynamic contour recognition is performed in two steps.
Scanning: laser scanners work in a two-dimensional area. They measure obstacle distances and calculate the outline of an object. This data is transmitted to MagicControl 4.0.
Dispersion: the scanned object shape is segmented and translated according to the exact axis position and individual gun settings. Each axis is positioned independently.
