The IBC container pneumatic mixer is designed for use with 1000 litre containers. It allows mixing of materials, maintaining a uniform consistency or avoiding sludge formation at the bottom of the container. The speed of the mixer is adjustable by means of an air regulator, allowing precise control of the mixing process.
"Twistork" mixers are screw-type mixers designed to keep high viscosity substances active. The advantage of the mixer is that the substance is sucked into a tube inside the mixer. Therefore, no separate suction tube is required for the substance to be absorbed. A separate transfer pump may be required for more viscous substances. The mixer offered is pneumatic and has a transmission ratio of 1.82:1, giving an output of 0.4kW. The mixer is also available as an oil-free air motor and reevers.
The mixer is particularly important for substances containing a heavy solid component. Mixing prevents the heavy component from settling to the bottom of the vessel. This ensures an even distribution of the solid component over the entire surface. Also, the pump will not wear or clog due to dry components settling on the bottom of the vessel.
