Humidity control cabinets act as variable humidity, temperature humidity, environmental, climate or air conditioning units. Their reliability, ease of use and rugged design have led to their use in all major industrial sectors. Temperature and humidity testing and product conditioning is vital for the research chemist, development engineer and quality assurance manager to ensure that a product is researched, developed and manufactured to a standard that will ensure it will survive in the environment for which it is intended.
The equipment is designed to meet the environmental testing requirements of the paint, plastics, packaging, paper, board, electronics, automotive, aerospace, military, textile and telecommunications industries.
Humidity conditioning cabinets already come standard with many features. To facilitate programme management, up to seven different test methods can be stored on the microprocessor controller. A variable speed peristaltic pump supplies deionised water to the irrigation system via a flow meter. The condenser housing, the air heater, the cooling/air conditioning system and the irrigation system are free-standing and fan-assisted. Each humidity control cabinet is equipped with an NTC temperature sensor and an independent capacitive RH sensor with a micro membrane filter. The air injection is automatically conditioned by forced air circulation. The independent water reservoir tank has an audible alarm to warn of low water level.
The machines have a clean, functional design, are low-maintenance, yet high quality. The internal capacity is used to the maximum and has top loading access. The humidity conditioning cabinets are very well insulated, ensuring fast recovery times and fast conditioning. A steam generator ensures direct humidification.
