Elister's team contributed to the work of the Estonian University of Life Sciences' Department of Wood Processing Technology by installing a new irrigation system in the university's premises.

The total number of zones where we carried out the work was 7 and their sizes varied. This meant that the air exchange needs of each room were different, and this was an important aspect that we took into account when implementing the project. One of the most challenging tasks was to install a fan sprayer in the smallest room, with a height of about 2.4m, instead of a duct system. This carries the moisture further away and prevents splashes from falling down.
We set up a UNIFOG touch screen for central management of the systems installed in all zones. All parameters are clearly legible on the control panel, each zone can be given a name and the system logs temperature and humidity parameters for each zone, which can be easily copied to a PC using a USB stick.

In addition, we installed a water purification unit with an iron filter, which mechanically purifies the water in a 5mm density filter. The water is further recirculated in membranes with a movement of 0001-.0001 mm, from where ions as well as all dissolved substances are recovered. After the membranes, the water is collected in a hydrophore and, after passing through a water softener, the water is discharged.
