Our client for this project was an Estonian woodworker who wanted to expand their production and switch from manual to automatic finishing. Our initial task was to create a complete line from components that the client had previously purchased and to put it into profitable production.
The whole thing was made even more complicated by the fact that the changeover from the old to the new system had to be done in just three weeks - old equipment out, new equipment in and up and running.
In hindsight, we can admit that it was a very busy time for us as well, but we were able to get the new installation up and running on time. It was a busy period!
All in all, two profile sprayers were installed, with a total of 16 Graco machines. G40 automatic pistols, two chain conveyor drying ovens working in series, necessary conveyors, a parts turner for 180 degree rotation, paint booth with 11 Graco Merkur and Bellow pumps, three-component paint dispenser. Graco 3KSwhich mixes multicomponent substances and controls the viscosity of the substance, and ATEX ventilation units with heat compensation to compensate for the amount of air leaving the factory.
The whole logic and automation of the ovens was newly created. The operating modes of the ovens are configured for the operators according to the type of product and the material used. as recipes. In the recipe, it is possible to predefine the speeds of the different conveyor nodes, the temperatures of the oven sections, the use of IR lamps and much more.
Later we will get additional tasks:
