OUPC series liquid separators

The OUPC Series is a compact, multi-stage Gram Clean Air filter specifically designed for installation on processing machines that cool lubricants. The unit separates oil mist, emulsion mist, minimum lubrication quantity (MQL) vapours and oil mist directly from the machine air stream before it enters the ventilation or aspiration system.

The OUPC is distinguished from the OUF and OUK series by its 5-stage filtration system, which ensures a degree of separation of at least 99.95% from all coolant particles. The first two filtration stages separate whiskers and mist, the third to fourth stage fine filters into a G104A glass fibre filter and the final stage is a HEPA H13 filter that removes particles down to 0.1 µm. Separated liquid particles are automatically recycled back into the machine if necessary.

Thanks to its compact design, the OUPC can be mounted directly on the machine on either the right or left side, without the need for additional space. The unit can also be used in central aspiration systems where the airflow from several machines passes through a common filtration system.

Product features

  • Contaminated air is discharged at the end of the separator into a pre-distribution chamber for air distribution and compression.
  • Accumulated particles are directed to a washable PPi35 pore filter (50% higher efficiency than aluminium grease filter).
  • The air is then finely filtered into filter G104A. Separation efficiency > 99% af particles above 0,1 um
  • Under the first two filter stages there is a ½" water cup with a liquid reservoir.
  • The last filter stage is a HEPA filter, filter class H13, which ensures > 99.95% particulate removal down to 0.1 µm.

General device, low operating costs

The 4-stage separation principle in the OUPC ensures an optimal filtration solution, regardless of the type of cooling oil.

The large surface area of the washable pre-filter and the self-retracting filter cassette ensure long service life and low pressure drop, minimising energy and filter replacement costs. The high filtration efficiency of the third filter stage ensures a very long filter life.

Compact and space-saving solution

The horizontal design of the OUPC 500 - 1010 offers a particularly compact and space-saving filter solution for installation directly on the machine centre. Models with integrated fan are also available, making the unit particularly compact.
