Welding Cubes - tailor-made extraction solutions for the production hall

Welding Cubes are custom designed and built by Elister to be mounted directly on the workstation ceiling or suspended. The cubes are fully adaptable in terms of dimensions and airflow - suitable for individual welding stations as well as for covering large production lines. They are particularly suitable for welding robots, lathes and laser cutters, where the use of a localised air flow is the most effective method of ensuring a clean working environment.

Elister welding cubes features

  • Adjusted dimensions: Each hood is designed to suit the workplace - covering exactly the area where the pollution is generated. No more, no less.
  • Overhead or pendant mounting: The cubes are suspended at the correct height from the workstation to ensure maximum efficiency of retrieval without obstructing the worker.
  • Suitable for lines and single machines: Modularly, a long welding line or several machines can be covered by a single system - reducing pipework volume and maintenance costs.
  • Connectable to a filter system: The cubes are connected to Gram Clean Air central filter units, which ensure W3-class cleaning efficiency.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a welding cube and a butt weld?

The welding cube covers a larger area and is fixed to the ceiling, making it well suited for robotic welding and CNC machines where it is impossible to move from the workstation. The arms are movable and suitable for manual welding.

Can I also use cubes with laser cutters?

Yes, Elister tubes are well suited to laser cutters. Laser cutting generates fine particles and gases directly from the workpiece - the hood removes them before they spread to the work environment.

How is the cube designed?

Elister designs each cube to suit the job - taking into account machine dimensions, workflow and shop floor conditions. We offer a complete solution from design to installation.

Which filter system will be connected to the cube?

The cubes are connected to Gram Clean Air central filter units, which purify the air to W3 class. The selection of the appropriate filter unit depends on the number of cubes and the air flow.
