In addition to their roundness and ceramic properties, zirconia steels are incredibly long-lasting. The life of an abrasive can be up to 12 times longer than a glass ball. The advantage is the absence of dust and the minimum wear on the part being machined.
The glass balls are perfectly round and hard, so they will not damage or wear the substrate. They remove dirt, rust, limescale, etc., securing a beautiful surface.
