EXTEND-EX-P-LED is an ATEX 1/21 certified linear LED Ex luminaire in a GRP housing, designed for use in explosion hazardous paint and varnish booths, solvent storage areas and surface treatment lines in the chemical industry. The EXTEND-EX-P-LED is a robust linear LED luminaire built on a fibreglass reinforced polyester (GRP) housing. Thanks to its exceptional chemical resistance, it is ideally suited for aggressive surface treatment environments where there is exposure to solvents, paint and chemical vapours.
Designed for ATEX/IECEx zone 1/21 - is suitable for higher risk explosive environments: paint and varnish booths, solvent stores and chemical surface treatment lines.
The housing is made of GRP material (RAL 7035) with a silicone coating that does not degrade and is resistant to chemicals and UV radiation. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser provides maximum light diffusion. A central lock simplifies maintenance and an optional integrated disconnector is available for safe electrical work.
