EXTRA-EX1/21 is an ATEX 1/21 certified linear LED Ex luminaire in a polycarbonate (PC) housing, designed for use in potentially explosive industrial environments, including paint and varnish booths, solvent stores and chemical surface treatment lines. The luminaire offers a high degree of protection (IP66/IP67), impact resistance IK10 and an exceptionally long lifetime (up to 110 000 h). Manufacturer: Vyrtych a.s. (Czech Republic). The EXTRA-EX1/21 is a robust linear LED luminaire built on a durable polycarbonate (RAL 7035) housing with silicone gasket. The opaque PC-coating ensures a uniform light field and reduces glare. Thanks to the encapsulated LED module and the certified electronic ballast, the luminaire achieves high efficiency and a long lifetime even at elevated temperatures.
Designed for ATEX/IECEx zone 1/21 - is suitable for higher risk explosive environments: paint and varnish booths, solvent stores and chemical surface treatment lines.
The standard fittings include stainless steel (AISI304) mounting brackets for direct ceiling or wall mounting, with the possibility of hanging by means of wire rope or dowels. A screwless 3-pole terminal (up to 4 mm²) is used for connection. Optional extras such as DALI2 control and emergency lighting 1h/3h are available.
