Gram Clean Air Welded Filters - W3 certified industrial filtration systems

Gram Clean Air welding filters are high efficiency filtration systems that meet the stringent W3 class standard. This ensures that the filters used not only remove welding fumes efficiently, but are also reliable and safe in the most demanding industrial environments. The filters are suitable for both manual and robotic welding and can handle airflows ranging from 500 m³/h to 35 000 m³/h.

Gram Clean Air series of welding filters

  • GCA hand filters with pawls: Compact filter systems for individual welding points, equipped with movable extraction hoods. Suitable for both single and multiple workstations.
  • GCA Air Tower filter towers: Freestanding central filter towers suitable for open working environments. Easy installation, no piping required.
  • GCA Push-Pull systems: Solutions for larger welding halls with pusher-driven airflow - suitable for production halls up to 5000 m².
  • GCA robotic welding filters: Filters specifically designed for robotic welding applications, which operate in an automatic cleaning cycle and require minimal maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

What is a W3 class welding filter?

W3 is the highest classification for welding filters according to EN ISO 15012-1. This ensures that the filter removes at least 99% of welding aerosols, including the finest metal oxides. W3 certified filters are mandatory for welding stainless steel, aluminium and nickel alloys.

Are Gram Clean Air filters suitable for robotic welding stations?

Yes, Gram Clean Air offers filters specially designed for robotic welding, which operate in an automatic cleaning cycle. They are suitable for both single welding cells and multi-robot systems, providing stable filtration efficiency even in continuous production.

How to choose the right filtration system for your welding shop?

The choice depends on the size of the hall, the number of welding processes and the air flow. For smaller halls (up to 500 m²) Air Tower solutions are suitable, for larger halls (over 1000 m²) Push-Pull systems are suitable. We can help you calculate the required airflow and recommend the right solution.

How often do I need to service my welding filter?

The maintenance requirements for Gram Clean Air filters depend on the intensity of operation. Models with automatic cleaning usually require maintenance every 6-12 months, manual systems more often. All units are fitted with a filter fullness indicator, which signals the need for filter replacement.

Pre-separator with spark arrestor FUV

The FUV type spark arrestor protects the dust filters from sparks, thereby reducing the risk of fire in the central filter and the pipework. The FUV spark arrestor is equipped with a built-in water trap that fills automatically when the separator is connected to the water supply. This significantly reduces the risk of the filter not having the required water level in the water bath.
