Coatmaster 3D can be installed as a part of a production line, thus providing a consistent overview of the layer thicknesses. The biggest advantage of the 3D model over other models is the three-dimensionality of the measurements, which can be used to obtain information on both external and internal surfaces. As with other Coatmaster devices, the measurement results are transferred to a server, where they can be analysed when needed. In addition, it is also possible to look at previous measurement results to compare how the changes in the paintwork are performing and whether further development of the paintwork process is required.
Coatmaster equipment is designed to check the thickness of the paint coating on different surfaces (metal, glass, stone, plastic, wood) in a non-contact way before the baking or drying process starts, thus allowing to assess whether the coating thickness is sufficient or too thick.
In addition, you can also measure the thickness of an already crystallised layer of powder paint, as well as the thickness of a dried layer of liquid paint, making it a highly versatile tool.
